Our protagonists are some very special cows from Burkina Faso. They might look bony, but with a plough they make the revolution.

‘If I had a cow’ is a short documentary which, through optimism and humour, animated explanations and the most real of realities, aims to show how simple ideas can move mountains.

Norma Nebot studied at the London Film School awarded by a full scholarship by the British Council and Fundación Barrié de la Maza. She also holds a BA in History (University of Sussex, UK)

She was commissioned by Alejandro González Iñárritu to shoot and direct a 50-min making of/documentary around the world of immigration in Barcelona as it was portrayed in his latest film ‘Biutiful’. She has also shot and directed many «behind the scenes» for Spanish movies. In India she shot a 50-min making of/documentary around the filming of an independent movie. Her documentary feature ‘Another Stage’ won Best Film at the IV International Film Festival on Human Rights in Santa Coloma de Gramenet. ‘Sounds on Earth’, her segment of the portmanteau feature film ‘Senses’ won the Best Film Directing Award at the Film Art Int’l Film Festival, Bulgaria, 2004. For ‘Viaje Seguro’ she won Best Short Film Screenplay at the La Laguna University, Spain, 2008.
